Absolute Pitch

“Absolute Pitch” is just another term for Perfect Pitch. What it means is the ability to know exactly what a note is without any reference note. This differentiates it from relative pitch which is the ability to hear the relationship between two or more notes.

An Example: Someone who has absolute pitch could walk into a room and hear a single note played on a piano and know exactly what that note was. Someone with relative pitch would have to hear one note named first before they could tell you what the second note played is.

You can develop both relative pitch & perfect pitch with the Pure Pitch Method.
